Coral Reef Workshop and installation
Pioneer Hall - MacCabe Park

In Stitches will share their crochet skills to create hyperbolic coral forms as part of the global installation – the Coral Reef Project.

Children’s creative art workshops

Shell and weaving workshops: Boolarng Nangamai, the Aborginal artist collective based in Gerrigong will share their skills, assisting participants to make shell objects and bush jewellery.

Percussion instruments: Join in the gypsy mayhem and create your own percussion instrument!

Tag Tree: Tagging is one of the key elements of graffiti knitting. If you have a message, a haiku, a proverb or fragment of a poem, try tagging it. Contribute to the Viva tag tree in MacCabe Park.

Zine workshop: Local zine artists will help you create your own zine.

Circus skill workshop: Circus Monoxide’s Harvey’s Troupe will have all ages enthralled in their colourful circus stations.  Learn skills like diablo, juggling and hula hoop. Thrill seekers have a unique opportunity to learn how to fly high above the crowds in the aerial workshops.
